I got this recipe from a few days ago. I didn't expect it to turn out so good! I am posting in #BDCommunity as the food turned out delicious. TRY IT!
Ingredients:
2 lbs white fish, I use tilapia fillet.
1 onion, medium, chopped.
2 tomatoes, chopped. I used Roma tomatoes.
3 segments garlic, minced.
1 can 8 oz green chiles.
1 tsp chili powder
2 tsp turmeric
Salt to taste
Oil for sautéing
Except for the eggplants (I did not have that ingredient in my refrigerator), everything is as prescribed, using canned chilis instead of fresh green chilis.
We are ready to cook!
1. Sauté the onions and tomatoes in 2 tbs. cooking oil.
2. Add the garlic, and salt.
3. Continue sauteing until vegetables are cooked.
4. Add the turmeric and the chili powder.
5. Then add the Dice Green Chilis. Cook for 1 minute.
6. Add the fish.
7. Cover the pan with a lid and cook for 5 minutes or until done. Don't forget to taste it!
8. Transfer to a serving dish. Serve with steaming hot rice!
