Assalamualaikum everyone. How are you all? I hope you are all doing very well. Alhamdulillah, I am also doing great. In this cold season, sitting in the warm midday sun and enjoying a bowl of spiced elephant apple mix doesn’t feel bad at all, right? It tastes absolutely delicious. So come, let me share with you how I prepared my chalta makha today.
We will need only a few simple ingredients.
Ingredients:
1.Large elephant apples,
2.Coriander leaves,
3.Salt,
4.Sugar,
5.Fresh green chilies.
First, wash the elephant apples thoroughly and cut them into small pieces. Then wash them again properly. After that, place them on a grinding stone and mash them well until smooth.
Then place the chalta pieces neatly in a bowl, and using that masher, grind the green chilies, coriander leaves, sugar, and salt very well.
The more finely the coriander leaves are ground, the more delicious it tastes. And if you add a little extra salt and sugar while grinding, it becomes even tastier.
When sugar is used here, the balance of spice and salt remains absolutely perfect, and the overall flavor increases a lot.
It tastes incredibly good.
Once the mixture becomes smooth, pour the previously ground chalta over the leaves and spread it evenly.
When the mixture is spread over the leaves, the taste becomes much richer and more delicious.
Our chalta mix is completely ready now. And trust me, it tastes incredibly delicious.
On cold days, sitting in the yard under the warm sunlight and sharing this chalta makha with everyone feels truly wonderful.
