During this slightly cold season, carrots are easily available everywhere. And this delicious halwa made with carrots is really enjoyable to eat. So, let’s share the recipe with you all.
Ingredients:🥕
1.1 kg carrots (fresh and juicy)
2.1 liter full-cream milk
3.½ cup sugar (adjust to taste)
4.3 tablespoons ghee (clarified butter)
5.2 tablespoons chopped cashews
6.2 tablespoons chopped almonds.
Process🥕😋
Wash, peel, and grate the carrots finely.
Heat a heavy-bottomed pan and add the grated carrots.
Pour in the milk and cook on medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the milk reduces and thickens.
Add sugar and mix well. Cook until the mixture starts leaving the sides of the pan
Add ghee for a few minutes until a rich aroma comes out.
Cook until the halwa becomes glossy and thick.
Turn off the heat and let it rest for a few minutes.
Serve warm, garnished with extra nuts. It tastes amazing on its own or with vanilla ice cream 🍨
