This is my entry post for the Season Hunt Challenge by in the Feel Good Community! This is the seventh week and the theme is Bare Trees. It is also the last week of hunting for Autumn! You can learn more about the contest and how to enter HERE!
My photos for today's post were all taken at three different parks or areas in Baltimore County, Maryland. This first photo is the only one that I have today from Cromwell Valley Park. It is quite possibly the biggest tree there although I don't know that for certain. It sits on a hill by itself and seems to dwarf not only the picnic table beneath it but the surrounding trees and brush as well. It looked especially forlorn standing bare on the hill on the overcast and damp day that I was there.
The next several photos were taken at the Big Gunpowder Falls State Park.
There aren't many Evergreen trees in this area of the Big Gunpowder Falls State Park which makes the bare trees stand out even more.
My last photos were taken at Loch Raven Reservoir which I think is more of an area than a park. There are a lot of trails around the Loch Raven area but I've only been on a few.
This is my last photo and it overlooks a little island in the reservoir known as Goose Island. It is just a spot of land with a few trees and shrubs on it. There are a lot of waterfowl around Loch Raven and usually you can see a lot of geese on the little island out there. Geese, and or ducks and or (on this particular day) seagulls. 😉
Thank you for #seasonhunt!!
