This is my entry post for the Season Hunt Challenge Week 12 by in the Feel Good Community! The theme this week is Snowy Buildings! You can learn more about the contest and how to enter HERE!
I had to go way back in the archives for my first photo so it is most definitely the oldest photo in my post. I do remember that we got a lot of snow the Winter that I took this photo.
The rest of my photos are all ones that I took more recently. This one being the most recent that I took within this week. I took it the night it started to snow and I'm glad I took it when I did since during the night the snow changed to rain as the temperature rose. The next morning there was a lot less snow to be seen.
My next two photos show some buildings in the distance along with some out building in neighboring yards. The second photo below is a zoomed in photo of the buildings in the distance.
I took this next photo last Winter. I noticed the steam coming out of the vent in the roof. I think it was more interesting looking than the photo portrays though.
Below is part of our own roof as seen from a window and a photo that I took from the front porch of the neighbor's porch railing with another neighbor's roof behind that.
It was easy to spot this cat that was up on our garage roof. If the cat had been an all white cat then I probably would not have noticed it up there. The garage has a big hole in it and needs to be replaced. Anyway, this is a feral cat that lives between a few houses. Evidently, he or she, has been living part time in our garage.
Speaking of cats! Here is Sad Cat who is in his little house. This is also my last photo. I'm not certain if it counts as a "snowy building" but it is a house with snow on it and I did put it together after in came in the mail. Sad Cat is one of the outside cats that is also a TNR (Trap, Neuter, Release) Cat. His little house is meant as an outside house for cats. It is insulated and we added a heavy duty self-warming mat to it even though it did come with a thinner self-warming mat for the inside of the house. We have another cat house outside as well but the other two cats prefer their other spots which offer shelter and some warmth from the outside elements. Hope you enjoyed my photos! Till next time .. take care and stay warm! 💖
