Hello and a Happy New Year to all of you Season Hunters. Welcome to the new year and to the perfectly-timed new hunt for this week, the Season Hunt Challenge, hosted by . If you have not heard of this exciting Challenge yet, read about it here and join us in this fun-filled hunt.
This week we are hunting for:
SWEETS and GIFTS
These two are my absolute dream wishes for Christmas. You guessed it right. I have a sweet tooth and I love to receive gifts, especially on Christmas. For this week's hunt let me start with my Sweet trophies beginning with the photos below.
The two photos above show some of my wife's ornaments which usually make their annual appearance this time of the year every year. That's a ceramic piece slice of cake with a cherry on top. It's mounted on a white decorative metal carriage frame. The other is a plastic globe with some colorful jelly beans inside. It is also mounted on a white carriage frame making it look like the same carriage that took Cinderella to the ball. See photo below.
The Christmas themed cannisters provide the perfect backdrop for these two. Now moving on to the real sweets that has left me so wishful I was there. Photos below are from my daughter in Germany when she visited a Christmas market in Koblenz.
Chocolate / caramel apples and figurines
Sweets coated fruits
Heart-shaped Chocolates
Enough of the sweets. Now for the gifts! Here are some photos of gifts to be exchanged in a Christmas party.
A couple of gift wrapped presents with shadows cast from a Christmas themed candle holder.
And of course, the best part is opening them on Christmas Eve. Here's a photo of my grandson opening one of his gifts as the clock struck midnight.
A stuffed lady bug and a book from mom.
But most of all, Christmas is for kids (and those who are kids in heart 😂). And the ultimate joy in gift giving is not when we receive but when we give and get this kind of reaction. Priceless!
And that's about it for this hunt. I really enjoyed doing this. I hope you did too, reading this post. Looking forward to more enjoyable hunts in the coming months and here's a big good luck to all the participants in the lucky draw.
A Blessed and Prosperous New Year To One And All.
