It Is Finally Christmas Day!
Christmas began with worshipping Jesus as the Reason for this season followed by a potbless, which I did not take any photos of. I especially like Christmas songs as they bring me back to my childhood time when my mum bought my sister and I 2 cassettes of Christmas songs. Back then, we played and played the songs till I could memorize the lyrics. Fast forward to now, even Christmas songs made me shed tears when I now look at the lyrics and sing them. It is indeed so different when we celebrate Christ in Christmas.
My children stayed in church till did not want to go home but the youngest was tired already which explained why she koala me and did not like it when I put her down to take photos with her brothers. The second son asked me how come today we didn't take until 20 photos (a quota I negotiated with him last night) so we were under his "expectation" today hahahah. Then I KO at home for 1 hour 45 mins nap. Couldn't wake up at all, yeah was that tired because my youngest child got up to play for 2 hours in the middle of the night.
It is not easy to take photos with all 3 of my children. One is very cooperative, one has quota so he needs negotiation and prep talk beforehand and another is based on our luck to be able to catch her at the right moment or not. So ya I usually just keep snapping and hope that maybe one catches the right moment. Upload all first, filter later ðŸ¤
Having said that, glad to be celebrating Christmas with my church and friends as well as some teachers.
As we celebrate, we remember Jesus, the Reason for this season. His name is also called Wonderful, Counsellor, Son of God, Prince of Peace, King of kings and Lord of lords. Really do not know how to live in this age without Him cos I for one am very much in need of Him in every aspect as I am being aware of how much more I call upon Him this year. So really thank Jesus He decided to be born unto mankind. May we all experience the Person of Christmas this season and every day of our lives! 🎄
Glad to be able to wind down the day with some hot cocoa and marshmallows before the children's most exciting session- opening presents!!!
