Hi everyone!! today I want to share something I think is very very cool about this social media feature, it shows reminders of, in this particular case, how long two people/groups have been friends on the platform, sometimes the time is not the most accurate, cause many of us got to know people before social media! but, the meaning of it is no less important.
So, this morning I found on my phone a notification of a Facebook reminder, when I opened it, something inside felt kind of warm, cause even though we've seen each other in person like five times only! today is the 13th anniversary of @Victoriabsb's and my friendship!
Thirteen years ago, thanks to a common interest, we connected, and ever since, even though we do not talk every day, when we do, feels like time has not passed, but it has, years have gone, we've changed a lot, we now have families and many other responsibilities, we often talk about our parenting experiences, and, she introduced me (many times) to HIVE, and has now shown me the amazing ability she has developed over the years to teach others with patience and continuing being herself which is a very respectable treat!
As I've told her, once or twice, it's been really nice to go through the motherhood experience "together", having someone close who's living the same changes and in very similar moments in life, we are convinced her son and my daughter will get married and then we'll be family, although I already consider her like that. I read somewhere the phrase "my social circle has become so small that is no longer a circle, is a dot" and I can say that I'm very thankful to have her in my "Dot"
I've always been able to count my close friends with the fingers of one hand, big groups are cool and all but, there are always some people that stand out and clicks with you on a deeper level, and those unexpected friendships are the best!
So in this day, i want to thank you Vica for being there, even if it's just through a screen, thank you for helping me into HIVE and answer my questions even if some times are just lame xD and for your friendship in general. Here's for many more years to come!!
