My greetings to all the friends of the Feel-good community. Friends, there is something in every person's life that, when remembered, his mind immediately connects with that experience, place, or incident. Due to this, he gets lost in the feeling he gets. And this community gives us the same opportunity. I had a similar experience today. This place has played a very big role in the success of my life. After coming here today, very old memories came alive.
Today I had to go to one of our suburban offices for office work. Today, where I work, this is the head office of our Maharashtra State Government GST department. Which is in Mumbai. And our second office is in Bandra. This is also very big, but not as big as the Mumbai office. I lived in Mumbai at the time, when I got the call for the interview. This was a matter of thirty years ago. My interview took place in the head office, and I was posted in the Bandra office. It is 30 kilometers away in the Mumbai suburbs.
At that time, this area was not as developed as it is today. Friends, I cannot describe in words the happiness I felt when I got the interview call. I can only describe in my mind the joy I felt at that time. Friends, the circumstances of that time were such that getting a good job was a big deal for me. Because our financial condition was not so good at that time. Due to less rainfall in the village for four consecutive years, there was no income from farming. We did not even have our own well to irrigate the fields. Marriages were to be done in the family in two to three years. As I was the eldest in the family, I had to take on all the responsibilities. After my studies, I came to Mumbai with a relative.
I got this call after doing small jobs for three years. I was very happy because now our family could move ahead well. Friends, and this is what happened: while working here in this office, I improved farming; two marriages also took place in the family. Getting a job made the work ahead easy. But many difficult problems, good days and memories of happiness are associated with this office. Today, by the grace of God, my and my family's situation is very good. I stayed here for six years; later, I was transferred to the head office. A lot improved in my life in these six years. Friends, today, when I was going through the same road, all those memories became fresh. On my way there, I also met some of my old colleagues. I have to go here only occasionally, but whenever I come here, I definitely remember those days. From where my life started, I moved towards success. And I got to see these days today. Friends, thank you very much for reading me until now.
