Espero estén disfrutando mucho su fin de semana y estén aprovechándolo al máximo para recargar las pilas ✨ En mi post anterior les comenté que días atrás había estado un poco cansada y decaída de ánimos, y la verdad es que este fin de semana quería despejarme un poco. Ya el viernes por la tarde, después de terminar de trabajar, le dije a mi amiga que quería salir a pasear y quizás tomar una copa de vino, ella me comentó que ya tenía un plan y me preguntó si quería sumarme, su plan era ir a ver una película de autor en el ciclo de cine del Museo de Bellas Artes de Bilbao. Al principió prejuzgué y asumí que sería algo caro, por eso me sorprendí cuando me dijo que la entrada costaba sólo 3,5 € y pensé genial, me va a quedar algo de dinero para luego ir a beber algo 😆

Already on Friday afternoon, after finishing work, I told my friend that I wanted to go for a walk and maybe have a glass of wine, she told me that she already had a plan and asked me if I wanted to join, her plan was go to see an auteur film at the Bilbao Fine Arts Museum's film series. At the beginning I prejudged and assumed that it would be something expensive, so I was surprised when she told me that the entrance cost only € 3.5 and I thought great, I will have some money left and then go have a drink 😆
🎭Así que al salir de mi última clase fui a encontrarme con ella en el parque Doña Casilda de Iturrizar, donde se encuentra el Museo.
🎬So when I left my last class, I went to meet her in the Doña Casilda de Iturrizar park, where the Museum is located.
🎭Me parece genial que se hagan este tipo de actividades, a precios accesibles para dar a conocer a autores que han enriquecido de alguna manera la historia del cine y del arte en general.
🎬I think it's great that these types of activities are carried out, at affordable prices, to make known authors who have enriched the history of cinema and art in general in some way.
🎭Yo no soy muy conocedora de este ámbito, y este acercamiento a este tipo de cine me ha encantado, así que planeo seguir viniendo a estos eventos. La Película que reprodujeron hoy fue "Nazarino" (1958) del importante director Luis Buñuel, quien al ser exiliado de su España natal durante la guerra civil, adquirió la nacionalidad Mexicana y desarrolló allí la mayor parte de su obra. Sus películas son de diversas temáticas pero siempre dando un impactante mensaje de crítica social.
🎬I am not very knowledgeable about this area, and I have loved this approach to this type of cinema, so I plan to continue coming to these events. The film they played today was "Nazarino" (1958) by the important director Luis Buñuel, who, after being exiled from his native Spain during the civil war, acquired Mexican nationality and developed most of his work there. His films are of various themes but always giving an impressive message of social criticism.
🎭Al terminar la película nos fuimos a un café ubicado en el mismo parque y allí tomamos nuestras bebidas. Mi amiga pidió una cerveza y yo un vino moscato.
🎬At the end of the film we went to a cafe located in the same park and there we had our drinks. My friend ordered a beer and I a moscato wine.
🎭Y luego emprendimos la caminata para regresar a nuestro piso compartido. Eran las 9 y media de la tarde y empezaba a anochecer y el color del cielo estaba muy bonito!
🎬And then we started the walk to return to our shared apartment. It was 9:30 in the afternoon and it was starting to get dark and the color of the sky was very beautiful!
