Phone Photography: The Tree That Has Seen More Than I Have
I’ve been photographing trees for many years now. These aren’t random shots—there’s always something more behind them. Trees have a majestic, reflective nature. They’re silent and still, yet they seem to speak volumes.
This particular tree stands along my path to work. Over time, it has become my favorite. It changes with the seasons, with the time of day, yet it always stands tall. In winter, it’s wrapped in frost; in spring, it basks in morning light; in autumn, it casts long shadows. And each time, it brings me peace and admiration.
Photography has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. My beloved grandfather took photos, then my father, and now I do. It’s something that brings warm memories. It allows me to return to beautiful, seemingly fleeting moments. It calms me.
All of these photos were taken with a Samsung Galaxy A55 5G. It proves that you don’t need a professional camera to capture something that touches the soul. Sometimes all it takes is a pair of eyes that see with feeling.
Trees have been here long before us. They’ll be here long after we’re gone. I like to think they remember. And perhaps, in their quiet way, they keep our stories alive.
