As the night falls the bright full snow moon lights up the sky...
Snowy Scene Around Our House on the Night of the Snow Full Moon
Why is it called snow full moon?
Farmer's Almanac gives this explanation here
it’s known as the Snow Moon due to the typically heavy snowfall that occurs in February. On average, February is the United States’ snowiest month, according to data from the National Weather
Close Up of the Snow Full Moon
It is said that what weather comes in with the full moon is what you can expect for the next bit. There was such fluctuation since the full moon that I guess that is what we get. It was -30 Celsius the night of the full moon then it warmed up to average temperatures which bought snow. Then the forecast says it goes up to - 2 Celsius for one day with snow then back to -30 - we just have to be prepared for anything.
Then I have some photos for the Season Hunt challenge with a theme of MISTY / FOGGY details here I have a shot of the effects of the mist around the moon.
