This post is my entry to Phone Photography Contest - #87 that is run by
I used to play a lot of basketball as a kid and teenager, so whenever I see an empty basketball court, old memories come back, and I want to find a basket ball to play right away!
This is an outdoor court where we used to spend endless hours playing our favorite sport.
They have painted it with different colors from the ones it had back then.
They have also painted the phrase: “STRT COURT”.
That’s pretty cool!
Unfortunately, they haven’t kept it as clean, with all those brown leaves constantly falling from the trees.
The following photo is from an adjacent, and bigger, basketball ground that we also made regular use of as kids.
The only thing that separates these two courts is a wire fence, as you can see.
The ball always bounced on the fence, so we didn’t have to run after it out of the court.
Then there is a photo of a playground near the basketball courts.
It is a place where toddlers and younger kids play.
I guess their parents used to play basketball on the nearby courts as kids themselves.
Now they bring their children to play on the playground.
How fast time goes by...
