The fall season is here again and so is the gloom that comes with it too, I literally just woke up this morning and a network mast close to my window was invincible as it had been covered by the thick foggy weather, the gloomy weather that comes with the fall season is one that might possibly put you in a bad mood or not, depending on your individuality for example ( if the fall weather favours you when it comes to getting a cold or if you generally like the feeling it brings with it)
Today i am going to be discussing the different ways to help you uplift your spirit, stay motivated and push through the gloom this fall season.
Productive Habits Routines
Read a new book: Reading book is important as it is one of best to enable the mind to learn about new information.
Adopt healthy habits: Engaging in new healthy habits would help you let go off old habits so long you drive yourself to start doing them, picking up new habits is very beneficial for the mental health.
Stretch for number of minutes: Stretching you body is most times underrated as a stress reliever activity, but this does work , you can check out Youtube videos on stretching to learn new stretching pattern that would improve your mood every time you try it out
Listen to Podcast: Listening to uplifting content online would definitely give you new perspective to your orientation, i recommended listening to self development podcast to lift up your spirit in the mornings.
Go out w friends: Being anti -social is not the worst thing in life, but making a conscious effort to go out with loved once would help distract your attention and focus once in a while.
Journal: Journaling is another productive habit, journaling could be done in different forms, it could be your form of letting out your hearts content. people often do not believe this helps you articulate better.
Take a walk: Going on a walk helps you clear your mind, "you know like how you get new ideas once you get in the shower", mostly when you are away from social media on your on phone or work on computer , walking may help you re-access your priorities.
Do a face mask: Taking out time to do skincare and self care is very important, but study shows that the time spent taking time for yourself, like running a bath or doing skin care routines is therapeutic too.
Light a candle: Lighting scented fragrances like candles or humidifiers can help to uplift your spirit, study shows that sense of smell when triggered by some scents on the olfactory receptors in the nose, sends electric signals to the olfactory cortex of our brain to help relaxes our nerves and mind .
