Dredge is an exploration-based journaling RPG and was something I immediately thought would be a neat aid to my own worldbuilding - as I could use the game as prompts to create a story for a character that could be part of my world.
Today's card:
Day 13
The day was largely uneventful, with no oddness, magic, or horror interrupting the familiar. Sailing today was easy, and I drifted into the evening feeling peaceful and sore in a good way from a day of effort. I stayed on the deck, relaxing with my hands behind my head, watching the stars wheel into the night sky.
It was as I was laying there that I saw what I knew must be a good omen. Waves of light danced among the stars, playful and colourful and shining down in a way I've never seen before, and as it cleared it seemed to dissipate as if a stone had been chucked into the middle... and framed in the ring of shining colours was The Hare constellation - and for a moment I remembered words from my past, telling me that the Hare signified growth, change, and purpose.
It couldn't be anything but a sign. I'm getting close to something.
