Dredge is an exploration-based journaling RPG and was something I immediately thought would be a neat aid to my own worldbuilding - as I could use the game as prompts to create a story for a character that could be part of my world.

Day 6
I didn't see the Hunter at all today. I don't know how long we sailed for, but we stopped mid-afternoon in a location unlike any I've seen before. From the waters below me rose several large weathered bones. Some had been broken and barely broke the surface of the water, while others towered above the ship and I. We stopped within the shadows cast by the skeletal ribs, and I felt the urge to cast my net.
What I pulled up was a large jagged and curved tooth. Strangely, over the entire surface of the tooth, runes had been carved. I've no idea what the significance of this is... or why I found it in the shadow of some gigantic dead beast... but as my hands closed on it I felt a surprising familiarity with the item.
I still have no memories of life outside of my ship here on the Sea of Angels, but even so... I feel confident that there's no way I could be familiar with this strange tooth. Perhaps it's the runic lettering on it that is jogging my familiarity.
For now, I'll be storing this in my cabin. Perhaps if I think about it more and have it within sight regularly, it'll jog some memory I've lost.
