Dredge is an exploration-based journaling RPG and was something I immediately thought would be a neat aid to my own worldbuilding - as I could use the game as prompts to create a story for a character that could be part of my world.

Day 7
Today was unsettling, but, thankfully not dangerous.
As we sailed today at some point in the late morning I spotted a darkness on the water directly in our path. By the time I could clearly see what it was, we were nearly on them - a writhing knot of eels - sliding over and around each other, the sound strangely soothing. It pulled at me in a way I can't describe. It was hypnotic, lulling, and welcoming. I wanted nothing more than to dive into that writhing mass and slip under the churning waters.
Thankfully, the boat had other ideas - and as I approached the railing, I tripped over something on the deck and cracked my head on the rail.
When I came to again, a rope was wrapped around my waist, and we were passing through the last of the writhing mass of eels.
I quake to think what would have become of me had I managed to make it over the rail.
