This ia a fictional horror story about Mad Mike; one of my favorite WOO characters. If there are any similarities, it's purely coincidental.
Hailing from Taiwan, “The Maritime Monster” Mad Mike has made a name for himself as he has won many major wrestling titles from across the globe.
You absolutely wouldn't believe how Mike turned into such a maniac. When Mike was young, he was a fearless guy. One of the ways to prove his bravery was to visit haunted places and face the unknown. Mike's friends chose a place for him known as the "Gemini Mansion," which was a standalone building designed by a famous foreign architect, located on a small hill along the banks of the Tamsui River. In the evening, you could catch a glimpse of the river and the sunset. The surroundings were peaceful and ideal. The house had changed hands multiple times, with the last known owner being a reclusive collector who stored his treasures inside.
Many years ago, a horrifying incident occurred inside. A family was brutally murdered, and their deaths were gruesome. Strangely, all the valuables inside the house remained untouched, and there were no signs of forced entry from the outside. It appeared to be a locked-room murder case that remained unsolved to this day. As a result, the Gemini Mansion had become infamous as a haunted house and remained unoccupied. Several prospective buyers had visited, but none dared to purchase it. People often claimed to see apparitions or disfigured spirits inside.
On that fateful night, Mike sat on a stone pillar outside, shouting, "I'm destined to become a great wrestler; how can I fear ghosts?" After finishing his cigarette, he grabbed a camping lantern and ventured inside. As per the rules, Mike had to explore every room and spend the night inside. The next morning, Mike's friends waited outside, but he didn't emerge. Worried, they eventually gathered the courage to enter the house around noon but couldn't find him, leaving everyone in distress.
Three days later, Mike was discovered at the entrance of a nearby temple, completely unhinged, yelling, "I'm not afraid of anything, stay away from me." He was soon sent for a psychiatric examination, which yielded normal results. Strangely, he had no recollection of the three days he had gone missing, and his friends never mentioned the incident again, as if it were a forbidden topic.
