On October 31, 1997 ECW ran a Halloween-themed show at the Twin Rinks skating rink in Stamford Connecticut. At that time the show was just over 3 miles from then-WWF's headquarters, which was just off Exit 9 on I-95:

This show had several fun sides and Halloween themes in this show. Some of these include:
- Jerry Lynn wearing his "Mr. JL" mask gimmick from his time in WCW
- Shane Douglas, wearing his old WWF "Dean Douglas" tights, and Chris Candido spoofing the then-WWF's earlier Bodydonnas tag team of which Candido was a part - in his "Skip" outfit
- There was a ECW vs WWF "Flag Match" which saw Tommy Dreamer defeat Rob Van Dam and earn the victory for ECW. This was because RVD also was wrestling some at the time for WWF helping to begin his "Mr. Monday Night" moniker
- Al Snow, with Head, broke out his old "Avatar" mask gimmick from his time in WWF just several months earlier
- The Dudley Boyz were created in early 1995 as a spoof of the Hansen Brothers from the hockey movie "Slapshot". Big Dick Dudley came to the ring dressed in a "Chiefs" hockey jersey - the same style as the one from the movie
