There's some fun math to wrangle when deciding how to approach the latest WOO incentive programs.
Hot off the press are the WOO Crates Airdrop. The juicy crate is the gold Legendary Crate, the only way to get the Terri Runnels card.
To get an L-crate airdrop, you need 2,000 "points," which amount to $0.50 per point if buying WOO Land Packs with fiat-based WOOBucks (between now and end of July). You'll get these golden crates proportional to all the Land Packs you've ever bought from the WOO store.
Some folks have their 2,000 points without needing to try, because you got 10 points per past-purchased-pack (if you bought 200 prior to all these announcements, congrats, you're in!)
For us plebs, the first bit of simple math is figuring out one's shortfall from 2,000 points, and if closing the gap is in the budget.
Enter the latest WOO Zealy contest (July 4 to 18), which will award 100,000 WOOBucks (worth exactly 2,000 points) proportionally against all Zealy participants. So if the whole cohort earns 10M Zealy XP and I personally earn 600,000 Zealy XP that's 600,000 / 10,000,000 = 6% = 6,000 WOObucks = 3 Land Packs = 120 Points.
✨ MATH! ✨
These Zealy numbers are realistic too, since you can potentially earn like 300,000 Zealy XP per day with the current quest setup.
Most of that comes from buying Land Packs... so by earning Zealy XP you're also getting those crate points... more math hahah. You have the certainty in points from your purchases during July 4 to 18 (assuming you're in Zealy), plus the potential bonus from the Zealy payout.
Are those figures enough to close your gap, within your budget?? Everyone's different... but if you have a small gap then I think it's totally worth it, since all your past Land purchases will spawn Crate rewards if you pass the 2,000 point... point.
More details on all the stuff I spoke about above are in the official announcement posts:
