Tony Khan and AEW are going to have their hands full trying to keep up with WWE tonight.
Its Tony’s birthday and he’s booked tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite’s to be called Title Tuesday where 3 titles will be put on the line tonight. This card is set to feature Edge vs Luchasaurus (with Christian at ring side), AEW International champ Rey Fenix vs Jon Moxley, AEW Women’s champ Saraya vs Hikaru Shida, Jay white will face Hangman Adam Page, Swerve Strickland and Bryan Danielson will have a #1 contenders match for the TNT Championship, and Powerhouse Hobbs will have a singles match vs Chris Jericho.
They will be battling in the ratings and for audience attention against WWE’s NXT who will have their regular developmental talent with the addition of John Cena, Cody Rhoades, Paul Haymen, Asuka, and POSSIBLY The Undertaker. The features alone will make most people tune into NXT, but their match card consist of, Roxanne Perez vs. Asuka, Tyler Bate and the Brawling Bruts vs. Gallus in a Pub Rules Match, Carmelo Hayes accompanied by John Cena vs. Bron Breakker who will be accompanied by Paul Heyman, and Cody will be making a special announcement.
It should be noted that BOTH shows will have the first 30 mins of their programing commercial free, and AEW will have a 10 minute run over to close out their show. If I can find them, I'll post up the ratings from the two shows next week.
