What is WOO?
WOO, aka Wrestling Organization Online is an upcoming play2earn game on the Hive blockchain about wrestling. They aim to bring back territory wrestling, where the wrestlers are tradeable nft's. The launch for the game is aimed to be in Q3 of 2023. To be able to launch, they already sold out 60k WOOalpha packs through various sales through 2022. Their WOOAlpha general sale sold out in 99seconds! Besides the wrestlers and managers which could been found in the card packs, they also need cities (often called land plots, but in WOO, we talk about cities). With WOO there are a lot of possibilities to earn passively $WOO. You can find out some different options in this article. But today I'll dive deeper in another option: Liquidity Pools.
At the moment of writing, there are 4 active pools with the $WOO token which all give you rewards. I'll describre these here. I want to kind of warn you beforehand though that liquidity pools bring their own risks with them. So know with what you begin ;)
WOO:SWAP.HIVE
The first pool is the WOO:SWAP.HIVE pool. At the moment of writing, there is about $4.782 worth of liquidity in the pool. When you're offering liquidity, you'll get rewarded with an average apr of 48,7% at the moment of writing.

I am a person who discovered the Hive community in December 2021. I was looking for a new cardgame to play and eventually earn something in. After some research I discovered Splinterlands. Splinterlands is an innovative addition to the play-to-earn games in the NFT world. Previously known as Steem Monsters, the game operates on the Hive blockchain and belongs to the trading game genre. In Splinterlands, players fight against monsters to get in-game rewards.
I decided to pay the $10 after playing some matches for free. 10 bucks for a computergame seemed fair for me. At the moment I'm trying to build out my carddeck by playing the game and participating in the community. At the moment of writing, my $10 became already worth more!
