“When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.”
Isaiah 43:2 RV1895 https://bible.com/bible/1922/isa.43.2.RV1895
Today’s verse is a great reminder of the unchanging love that our Savior has for us. Quite often, it’s easy to pray for adversities to disappear. No one wants to have to continue through a difficult and painful situation.
However, every great change in my life started with a very painful situation. One that i played would disappear so that i didn’t have to go through it. Well, they never disappeared.
I endured, thanks to the love of the Lord. And the situation still existed, but as i went through it, i learned something.
God takes our brokenness and pain, and then creates something beautiful and amazing.
If you’re having a difficult time, sometimes for me they never seem to stop, pray for endurance. There is a treasure at the end of it. Pray to the Lord and ask for understanding. You can make it.
