“rejoiceth not in unrighteousness, but rejoiceth with the truth;”
1 Corinthians 13:6 RV1895 https://bible.com/bible/1922/1co.13.6.RV1895
Isn’t today’s verse wonderful and full of truth. It calls us to look at our definition of love. Most definitions of love differ between people. But In this verse, we learn that love doesn’t rejoice when something unrighteous or even happens to anyone, but rejoices in the truth.
God is love. He is truth and Justice. As followers of Christ, we should also strive for righteous and truth.
Have you ever felt good when summertime deserved something bad, and it happened. It can feel good, but this is not love. We should rejoice when even the people we dislike prosper. We should love everyone, just as Christ does.
