Hello and good morning to everyone on this Thursday, a Thursday to remember and return to the past, to return to the past with memories captured on paper and in images, memories that remain in our minds. How many of us would love to be there again in that moment of the past, and relive that happy moment or that moment with great meaning that it was for us? Today I decided to share and open my treasure, my memories, here with you, and to talk about memories because there are many, but I'm only going to show you the most precious moments in the company of my family.
Amidst my journeys into the past, my present self encountered my past self—specifically, a version from a past so distant that, truth be told, I had completely forgotten about this photo. It was an old snapshot from my childhood, found at my mother's house—a picture of a little girl whose only concern was eating that mango.
And of course I can't forget my parents. They're not the only ones, but you can see that time has taken its toll on them. Time is sometimes unfair, and it always reminds us that life isn't that long, but I'm grateful for the moments I lived with them. Even though I've always been a bit of a rebel, I love them with all my heart. Right now, only my mom is with me; my dad is gone, but he remains in my memory.
I can't forget my sisters, my children, and my nephews—well, some of them. They're in several photos; they're in some and not in others. This is just a part of my family, because if we were very numerous, we'd need a huge camera.
As a final memory I want to share, these two photos made me remember and think about that moment. We weren't doing very well then, and sometimes I think about how strong we were at that time. Despite the difficult situation, we managed to pose for a Christmas card-style photo for the occasion because it was already Christmas time. It made me laugh to remember because my daughter made a Santa hat for our dog at the time. That dog has lived through good times and bad with us; she was very loyal to us.
I appreciate this group for keeping me company today. Although I didn't want to let #TBT pass me by, I really wanted to take the opportunity to share this activity with you all. I’ll sign off now, lovely group, sending you all a warm hug... 🤗
