Era un mes de septiembre, específicamente 8 dónde nos reunimos en la finca de una gran amiga, ella vive con su esposo y generalmente nos reunimos para hacer un hervido, que en ocasiones siempre varía. Pero este día era especial para los Margariteños, ya que era el día de la patrona de oriente.
It was September, specifically the 8th, where we met at the farm of a good friend. She lives with her husband and we usually get together to make a stew, which sometimes always varies. But this day was special for the people of Margarita, since it was the day of the patron saint of the east.
Aproveché ese día para llevarle un pastel a mi esposo y compartir ese día y celebrar su cumpleaños, el había cumplido tres días antes, Pero estos amigos son de nuestra entera confianza y pues apoyaron en este pequeño detalle. Fue un día de celebración, diversión y compartir con personas que siempre nos han acompañado, en las buenas y no tan buenas.
I took advantage of that day to bring my husband a cake and share that day and celebrate his birthday. He had turned three days earlier. But these friends are completely trustworthy and supported us with this small detail. It was a day of celebration, fun, and sharing with people who have always been with us, through thick and thin.
En esa oportunidad llegó a la finca de mi amiga un pequeño becerrito al cual me le acerque y se dejó acariciar, yo con un poco de miedo, Pero fue emocionante poder tocarlo, el por supuesto sintió confianza y el cariño que le estaba brindando. Mi tarde de compartir fue inolvidable, mi esposo estába contento por este momento en familia, con nuestros mejores amigos.
On that occasion, a small calf arrived at my friend's farm, which I approached and let me pet. I was a little afraid, but it was exciting to be able to touch it. Of course, it felt confident and I felt the affection I was giving it. My afternoon of sharing was unforgettable. My husband was happy for this family moment with our best friends.
Nuestro almuerzo quedó exquisito, lo cierto es que por ser un día de fiesta regional teníamos invitaciones de varios lugares, Pero para nuestra comunidad pasamos todo el día aquí en la finca. Son estos los momentos que me llenan de alegría y es por ello que nos reunimos con mucha frecuencia.
Our lunch was exquisite. The truth is that since it was a regional holiday, we had invitations from various places. But for our community, we spent the entire day here on the farm. These are the moments that fill me with joy, and that's why we get together so often.
