123, manos a la obra, así estábamos nosotras emocionadisimas para empezar a preparar nuestras deliciosas hallacas, mi #tbt relativamente nuevo un 18 de diciembre del 2022, en la fotografía estoy acompañada por mi nuera, mi sobrina y mi hija, en la casa habían más personas, mis dos hijos , mi esposo y mi yerno, todos alegres, esperando probar la primera hallaca de ese diciembre, todos colaboramos para comprar los ingredientes menos mi sobrina que era nuestra invitada especial para pasar un rato agradable con nosotros.

123, hands to work, that's how we were, very excited to start preparing our delicious hallacas, my relatively recent #tbt on December 18, 2022, in the photograph I am accompanied by my daughter-in-law, my niece and my daughter, there were more people in the house, my two children, my husband and my son-in-law, all happy, waiting to try the first hallaca of that December, we all collaborated to buy the ingredients except my niece who was our special guest to spend a pleasant time with us.

Claro que fue un momento agradable, yo disfruto mucho de hacer hallacas sin importarme en cansancio que viene después je je, mi hija y mi nuera me colaboran bastante, tomo café, una que otra cervecita escucho música alegre alusiva a la navidad, me como algunas pasitas, eso tradición que comparto en familia cada año, empieza desde bien temprano, me levanto a poner a hacer el café y también pongo a sancochar papas, zanahoria y huevos porque mis hallacas llevan todo eso en su relleno, el guiso ya lo he hecho el día anterior y también la selección y lavado de hojas, por que en mi casa un día como hoy se se almuerza con hallacas recién hechas.

Of course it was a pleasant moment. I really enjoy making hallacas, not caring about the tiredness that comes afterward, haha. My daughter and daughter-in-law help me a lot. I drink coffee, have a beer or two, listen to cheerful Christmas music, and eat some raisins. This tradition, which I share with my family every year, starts very early. I get up to make the coffee and also boil potatoes, carrots, and eggs because my hallacas have all of that in their filling. I already made the stew the day before, and I also selected and washed the leaves, because at my house, on a day like today, we have freshly made hallacas for lunch.

Mi #tbt de esta semana es porque hoy precisamente preparo mis hallacas, claro no tengo tanta ayuda ni compañía, mi nuera está con mi hijo mayor en Brasil, mi sobrina la llamamos ayer y nos dijo que no esta en Maturín, mi hija con una bebé pequeña no creo que me ayude mucho pero si me hará compañía al igual que su esposo, mi hijo José y mi esposo, aunque no los tenga a todos en mi casa, los tengo en mi corazón y hoy estarán conmigo aunque sea por videolamadas.
Soy muy afortunada y agradecida de vivir momentos como éstos... Agradecida Siempre!

My #tbt this week is because today I'm making hallacas. Of course, I don't have much help or company. My daughter-in-law is with my oldest son in Brazil, we called my niece yesterday and she said she's not in Maturín, and my daughter, with a small baby, won't be much help, but she will keep me company, as will her husband, my son José, and my husband. Even though I don't have them all at home, I have them in my heart, and today they'll be with me, even if it's just through video calls. I'm so lucky and grateful to experience moments like these... Always grateful!
