The Actifit Community
If you look at my posts you will notice that I regularly post in the Actifit community and have been for a couple of years. Overall I think its a great community for beginners. Not because they have the best posts. Not because they give good delegation rewards. Not because its a great place to meet new users.
Nope...
Because its a great community to practice posting regularly each and every day.
That may not sound like much but how many people get onto Hive and then fall away because they can't find something to post about. Or because they are nervous about getting things wrong. Or they are sad because they don't even get a single vote.
Well, with Actifit if you walk 5000 steps you get an upvote. A very very tiny upvote but an upvote nonetheless. With Actifit anyone who can move can slowly make money on Hive. Not a lot of money but enough HP to actually be able to join another community and be able to post regularly at least :) Plus those regular Actifit upvotes gradually increase a users rank which does mean something over time.
The AFIT token
If you have over 5000 AFIT tokens and post regularly then you receive a small amount of AFIT as well as HIVE. Unfortunately the 50 AFIT tokens people get is worth little more than dust. As an example I just exchanged 9,000 Hive tokens and .....
Received roughly 2 Hive.
If you get 50 AFIT tokens daily you will get roughly ONE PENNY in ten days. Even after two years of grinding and using all the AFIT power ups I only get 800 AFIT a day. Ever hear the saying A penny for your thoughts? Well, that's how much my daily AFIT is worth.
A fun experiment
My account is sitting on roughly 80,000 AFIT tokens so I thought to myself What can I do with these?
Of course I could just sell them all and take my 14 Hive and be done with it but where is the fun in that?
Instead I decided to do something just a little different.
What I invest the AFIT?
Is it possible to actually make money?
My challenge over the next year is to see what happens if I invest the AFIT tokens that I receive.
I'm going to sell AFIT tokens that I make
... Use the proceeds to purchase EDSI tokens
... Use the EDSI income either (a) stake HIVE OR (b) buy more AFIT
... Delegate any staked HP to the Great Little Dragon curator (
Note: I'll primarily sell on Tribaldex as the liquidity pool has the best rate but I'll make some available for sale on the hive-engine to keep people from getting burned if they use that route...hopefully
and see what the results are like at the end of the year 😁

AFIT tokens are pretty volatile so I'll also be tracking their price when I sell. I like using tribaldex but I'm curious of Hive-engine give a better deal?

Hive Engine nonsense
I took a quick look. On the Hive engine if I wanted to buy AFIT tokens the price is 0.0005999 to buy.
I'd have to pay 5.4 Hive to buy the same 9000 AFIT tokens that I just sold for 1.98.
Watch where you buy, small liquidity can burn people!
