Accounting where the HP is
Believe it or not there are 37 different accounts created which are going to be used in this community for one reason or another. I'm writing this post to keep track of a few things :
- First: How much each account has as a baseline
- Second : To get an overall value for tax purposes
- Third : A way so everyone can get a peek what I'm doing behind the scenes.
Overview
This year I purchased a total of 17,423 HP
Average cost $0.29 CAD each for $5,013.64
Current price $0.1333 CAD each for $2,690.50
However, I also got a fair amount of curation rewards, delegation rewards, staking rewards and so forth so a little accounting to see what the actual value is going into 2026

This account borrowed 10,000 GLD tokens (100HBD) to invest. Money has been invested and the 10,000 will be repair with real world investments and curation rewards from HIVE activity. A test case to see how borrowing and repayment can be made. Currently has repaid : 3,517 GLD tokens.
It's a bit confusing to explain now...but more to come on this one.

- Goal : Invest in EDSI and SURGE to maximize passive income
- Goal : Keep me KE at 1.0 (or less)
- Goal : Keep posting on Hive Learners to create income, purchase investments, and use the income from that to buy more HIVE
My main goal is to show new hive members how they can create an income stream online, use that income stream to purchase investments, and use those investments to help them achieve financial stability while also returning profits to the HIVE ecosystem so they can help more people in return.
Lots of accounts
Yes, there are a lot of accounts. However, the end goal is to be able to watch different investments on HIVE and see how they compare to other investments. I haven't gotten to the point where it all comes together but if you are looking at least you know what I'm doing :)

So I put in a lot of work doing posts and trying to make a return...but I still had fun doing it. Hopefully next year is a positive year but time will tell.
