This is the first month that I've actively been working on the
"Be Frugal not Stingy" Community and it is still tiny and I'm still inexperienced.
However, I needed to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who has participated in it!

I'd like to ping a few people to say special thanks.
who has always been supportive and who I'm trusting as a senior hive member to guide me in the right direction
who's positive comments I value and for calling me out if she thinks I'm wrong. I really appreciate that.
who wrote a couple of the best articles in the community. I appreciate the hard work and great writing.
for supportive comments. I appreciate it!
again for the supportive comments. I appreciate it!
for being there was I was so new and frustrated. Thank you
Going forward I'm hoping I can get ideas from you on what you would like from the Community. Mostly I'm thinking about rewards. As an incentive for any of those named above if you can give me a response I've got $1 HBD waiting for you
But to start:
Just so you are all aware, I mostly post as as that's the account I'm actively trying to grow. My goal is to save up $4000 HBD ... so I've got a long ways to go. Once I get to that goal ... well, I'm not expecting to keep the money myself, but that's a post for another day. I'm also
(my Splinterlands account). I'm also
(my HBD holding account).
I mention this so you know we are all one and the same.
Mostly I want you to know that I have very limited funds to grow the community.
- I have $450 HBD to give out to those people who actively help the community.
- I have $800 HBD in savings and all the interest will go out in rewards
- I have 1200 HIVE delegated to #HivePakistan and all proceeds will be given out as rewards.
- I also get a lot of Ecency points which I can also distribute
But how should I distribute those rewards?
I've sent out tips ranging from 1 Hive up to 5 HBD to people I've thought did a great job. I've also sent some money as tips to for her help in getting this community going.
Going forward I'd like to have a more defined reward structure. My curation rewards are worth nothing and your time is valuable ... but I don't know how valuable it is?
One thing I would recommend you do (providing I'm not breaking any Hive etiquette rules...help me out here ). I'd recommend not posting to the #Frugal community but rather cross post anything you think would fit. I've seen some of your excellent posts in #MarketFriday and #LeoFinance. I'd love if you dropped it in this community as a cross-post so you can get curated in the bigger community and I can get some nice posts here.
Thoughts on that?
I loved two of posts on being frugal and costs of basic foodstuffs. I enjoyed
post on typical monthly budget. I tipped what I thought was appropriate but what does the group thing is appropriate for a good post?
Thoughts on that?
I asked to watch and review a movie which highlights the plight of the poor being taken advantage of by the rich. In the future I'd love to get specific ideas from other members. How should I approach tasks like that? Should I make it member specific or should I open it up to everyone? How much should I reward for their effort?
Thoughts?
I loved when took a hungry neighbor in and fed him some rice even she didn't have anything to go on it. I also gave a thank you pizza to
which he shared with family. I loved seeing the images from that. I really hope to do more of that in the future. Any ideas on how I could arrange that with members?
Finally, as things go forward I hope to get some product reviews on novel items that may make life easier for people. Like the Biostove that I wrote about in a post. It got some good remarks from some members. If it is possible I'd love to send an item out for review to a trusted member as things go forward. Good idea? Bad idea?
Anyways...
Right now I'm just throwing ideas out there. I don't know if any of you are even going to keep showing up. However, I'm so glad for what I've heard so far and hope things can progress in the future.
Last Item.
The 1200 Hive and 1250 HBD that I have in my and
/@terganftp accounts was earned by playing a game on my phone called Coin Hunt. It is currently in beta and not available to Nigeria or Pakistan but has been paying out reliably $200+ USD monthly. I mention this because : I'll keep playing to increase my HBD so the interest will increase over time MOST IMPORTANTLY it will be going into full worldwide release sometime over the next few months. A free play to earn game with real payouts. It will be called Cubieverse. No guarantees if the full release will be anywhere near as profitable as the beta..but it may be worth looking into.
Thanks everyone.
Any questions let me know.
Any new members interested in the community...open to your ideas also.
