Love is so beautiful you don't even have to hide it, such a wonderful feeling and gesture that a day was created aside just to celebrate it's beauty, and in public love songs are played, lovers surprising eachother in public, asking a suprise call company to call your heart-throb or your lovely lady to deliver your love In a new found way. But there's also a type of love that has to stay away from the light, hide away from the public and not show it's face till it's sunset.
And then I got to even understand it more from one of my favourite genres , Country Music and the song "Day Time Friends" by Kenny Rogers.
The song just tells the harsh true about a certain kind of love that exist, yet not very common to the eyes. It's the type of love that crawls through the walls and stays out of the light. Not the very regular kind of love that comes out and everyone celebrates it's the type that hides behind closed doors and huge masks to cover the real thing going on.
He sings about the pain, of lovers wanting themselves but can never be together , because the love is the kind that takes away public approval and give public scrutiny and frowning faces.
The Song doesn't even try to sugar coat , this type of love. It just sings about how impossible it's for two hearts that wants eachother to become one.
This can be due to many circumstances, for example;
Everytime a couple must get married in my church couple of test has to be done, which includes Genotype compatibly.
A particular couple had fallen in love and saw eachother worthy of Love forever, but the church refused to WED them as it would be impossible to get rid of the total chances of having a non sickle Cell child.
But they went ahead and got married anyways not in the same church but in another church and they had to sneak to get that marriage done.
But it's one that has been frowned upon, good thing but head are turning and shoulders are shrugging of what kind of audacity that kind of love is.
But they had to go behind to get married despite the fact that they hard something that could easily be celebrated by closest friends and family, a love that would be joined together in harmony.
There are other people running behind closed doors because of a lot of disapproval from , Society, or the type of love that comes a little late when one of the two lovers have moved on to someone else, and suddenly the love if it must go on starts to only exist behind closed doors, and all they can do in public is steal glances at eachother.
But despite it all, cheers to those who found love that didn't come at a prizy prize.
