I keep them away from animals like ants and chickens, among others, that often attack my plants.

Las mantengo alejadas de animales como hormigas, gallinas entre otros que suelen atacar con frecuencia a mis plantas.
Pueden notar el rápido cambio que han tenido y es porque tienen un mejor abono y riego de agua constante, siempre quito algunas partes secas.

They don't require much sun, and a good spot would be under the shade of a tree. I can tell you that it works very well for me.
Tengo otras variedades de plantas decorativas y a cada una le hago un buen trabajo, si noto que donde están ubicadas está reseco le agrego mas tierra o la cambio.
Ellas no requieren de mucho sol y un buen sitio puede ser bajo la sombra de un árbol, les digo que me funciona muy bien.

Estos recipientes no se deben desechar podemos hacer una bonita causa la cual es reciclar y crear arte, a las visitas les encanta apreciar.
