Those of us who live far north at this time of the year, when the harsh winter is white all over, know that the beautiful snow that adorns the trees is not as benevolent as it appears to be. The cold temperatures kill everything that is not protected.
I show you with some pictures taken last night and others a couple of hours ago, so that you understand what I am talking about, of course, for those who live in tropical or equatorial zones, this is a wonder.
Just imagine, even the drone had a hard time getting airborne. In summer, with the high temperatures, the drone reaches good heights...
To withstand these temperatures, in addition to the padding of the suit, we use an undergarment that varies in degree depending on the insulation we need, made of natural or synthetic fibres. Thermal sets that are used as a first layer or thermal underwear that when worn close to the body will help to conserve the body temperature that will prevent hypothermia, shivering, or colds… To be able to be outside in the open and enjoy the white dye, today I am using a grade 15 undergarments, sufficient for temperatures between 20 °F (ca. -7 degree Celsius) and 30 °F (ca. -1.11 degree Celsius).
Well, it's time to go home to enjoy a hot cocoa and sugary biscuits to warm up. Thanks for sharing these cold temperatures with me. I will progressively show you more images alluding to the Canadian winter. A hug from afar.
