I would say it is hypocritical perse. Whenever someone chooses to live, work or invest in a location,
it does not necessarily mean that they are in agreement with the political and social landscape of the area. People can still freely disagree and oppose the politics of a state, yet still find value in buying and owning real estate, starting companies and doing events there.
But not sure what to think and to do about the modern #bookburning, though.
