So what is it?

It is a type of machine learning algorithm called a neural network. This one has been trained on visual data from the Internet. It takes a textual input and creates a visual output influenced by the aggregate processing of it's training data

You type in some words, you get 9 generated images

Two nights ago during a pain-induced extension of insomnia, I had the desire to listen to The Horn Track by The Egyptian Empire

In that moment, my darling entered the chat and I thought it would be funny to create a hamburger called 'The Egyptian Empire'

Imagine walking into Burger Store and seeing The Egyptian Empire on the menu

I'd buy that without even reading the ingredients. Bring it on

Such a burger, if realised, would need to be large in scale and pyramidal in shape

And then it really hit me: I could use Dall-E Mini to visually manifest this idea

So here I am, iteratively working toward the image in my mind's eye, cajoling this complex domain-specific statistical model into heaving forth a hamburger in the shape of a pyramid:
