The craftsmanship of ceramics represents the main prerogative of Santo Stefano di Camastra. The ancient manufacture and the characteristic decorations made on the delicate material have made the town in the province of Messina famous for its artistic production.
Dishes, amphorae, vases and other ceramic objects come out bright every day from the local furnaces. The craftsmen, however, do not limit themselves to producing furnishings, but also make the tiles with which the walls of some streets are covered.

La lavorazione artigianale della ceramica rappresenta la prerogativa principale di Santo Stefano di Camastra. L'antica manifattura ed i caratteristici decori realizzati sul delicato materiale hanno reso famosa la produzione artistica del paese in provincia di Messina.
Piatti, anfore vasi ed altri oggetti di ceramica escono brillanti ogni giorno dalle fornaci locali. I maestri ceramisti, tuttavia, non si limitano a produrre suppellettili, ma realizzano anche le mattonelle con le quali vengono rivestiti i muri di alcune strade.
