A leap towards the light - watercolors on paper

Hello everyone, dear Hivers friends, and welcome back to my blog. Today, I can finally share my beloved seascape. I freed myself from my work as a school teacher and managed to devote myself to my favorite subject.
I wanted to depict a seascape with two aspects: the first is turbulent, with boats at the mercy of the waves and a dark sky in the upper right corner. The second aspect is characterized by optimism, which is absolutely necessary for those who travel or work at sea, the light of hope among the waves.
So I depicted a promontory in the distance where a welcoming light shines from below, among the waves of the sea.

Un salto verso la luce - acquarelli su carta

Ciao a tutti cari amici Hivers e bentornati sul mio blog. Oggi finalmente riesco a condividere il mio amato paesaggio marino, mi sono liberato dal lavoro di professore a scuola riuscendo a dedicarmi al mio soggetto preferito.
Ho voluto raffigurare un paesaggio marino dal doppio aspetto, il primo agitato, che prende le barche in balia dei flutti con un cielo scuro in alto a destra. Il secondo aspetto è all'insegna di un ottimismo che è assolutamente necessario per chi viaggia o lavora nel mare, la luce della speranza tra le onde.
Così ho raffigurato un promontorio in lontananza dove brilla una luce accogliente che proviene anche dal basso, tra le onde del mare. Un segno di speranza che rende possibile il rientro in un porto.
