Clouds at Sunset Over the Bay - Watercolors on Paper

Hello to all my dear Hivers friends, and welcome back to my blog. Today I’m back to share a seascape that always inspires me. This time, I chose a very wide view to emphasize the sky, which becomes the undisputed star of the scene. I tried to capture the changing shapes of the clouds and, at the same time, the chromatic shifts brought on by the colors of the sunset. The result is a blend of cool colors merging with the warm hues of the sun, with the sea and islands serving as a bridge between them.
I added a small corner on the left where an adult and a child are admiring the scene.
I hope you like my watercolor; I’m sharing all the steps of the creative process with you, and I send my best regards to everyone.

Nuvole al tramonto sulla baia - acquarelli su carta

Ciao a tutti cari amici Hivers e bentornati sul mio blog. Oggi torno a condividere il paesaggio marino che mi entusiasma sempre. Stavolta ho scelto una visuale molto ampia per rendere importante il cielo che diventa il protagonista indiscusso. Ho cercato di dipingere la trasformazione delle forme delle nuvole e al tempo stesso cromatica con i colori della luce del tramonto. Il risultato è un blocco di colori freddi che si fondono con quelli caldi del sole, ed a fare da mediazione la parte del mare e delle isole.
Ho inserito un piccolo angolo a sinistra dove un'adulto ed un bambino ammirano la scena.
