Gothic remains - watercolors on paper

Hello everyone dear Hivers friends and welcome back to my blog. Today I am sharing my latest watercolor painting depicting a landscape full of Gothic ruins. As usual I started without drawing and relying on the suggestions of color and brushstrokes.

On the still wet paper I started tracing the marks of the Gothic architecture.

Next I painted the darker tones of the Gothic arches.

Finally I colored the base of the ruins with a hint of water and its reflections.

I hope you like my watercolor, I send you a Gothic hug.

Resti gotici - acquarelli su carta

Ciao a tutti cari amici Hivers e bentornati sul mio blog. Oggi condivido il mio ultimo dipinto ad acquarello che raffigura un paesaggio pieno di rovine gotiche. Come al solito sono partito senza disegno e affidandomi ai suggerimenti del colore e delle pennellate. Sul foglio ancora bagnato ho iniziato a tracciare i segni delle architetture gotiche. Successivamente ho dipinto i toni più scuri degli archi gotici.
Infine ho colorato la base delle rovine con un accenno di acqua e i suoi riflessi. Spero che il mio acquarello vi piaccia, vi mando un abbraccio gotico.
