Hey Photographers and brave explorers!
Today imma share with you a stroll through a town in the province called Lovech which has amazing vibes, because it is surrounded by hills and lots of greenery.
Since i have a lot of material from this town also im gonna split it in parts, but this time im gonna start backwards and this time its with the green part, because it’s the most beautiful one.
So basically during the communism times this city was the city with all the factories and all the labor and i cant even imagine what it looked like back then, because i wasnt born then, but still this city still stands beautiful with its greenery and balkan charm.
It’s one of these towns where you wouldn’t live, because you will die from boredom, but still appreciate the stroll through it you know.
So we are gonna start with the river and the green parts then we are gonna take a stroll in the downtown.
I probably have to mention i was there for work and i don’t know much about it so the history info is gonna be short, but the general part is gonna be presented to you.
Anyway strolling trough the green parts you can feel some lethargy, because you can feel the empty presence but still appreciate it for what it once was. Imagine you are playing alone in some game server and just exploring.
So here our journey begins where you can see a part of a fortress in afar which was built in the middle ages and had military functions and was a place of hunters and that’s where the name of the city comes from in our native language.
Other than that is this bridge which is called the cover bridge which back in time was a connection between the two coasts of the city before it was even a city. I have some photos during at night and it’s lights are beautiful, but you will see it in the “accents” part of the post.
The monument of the horseman you see is called Ivan Asen Ist and this monument was made greeting his bravery and victory with them Byzantines in 1187 when the second Bulgarian Kindgdom starts.
Okay now we are strolling through the typical downtown part that almost every city has you know the huge space with all the locals filled with trees and benches, but i noticed that the city is fairly empty on those streets yeah it has life, but it’s not what i expected.
I actually enjoy more when there’s less people around me and the weather was during the summer and the vibes and the breeze felt amazing. You know just a random sunny day for walking around and just enjoying the moment.
I know some people wouldn’t get it, but a city with a population with a town surrounded by greenery is such a vibe. I know i wouldn’t even live there, but the vibes for a couple of days there are amazing.
Anyway now let’s hop to the last part of the post which is the accents part where i will show you the covered bridge during the night and its illuminations and some other night shots. Enjoy! ☺️
Okay fellas this is the end of the post i hope you enjoyed it i have tried to bring as much historical information as possible and to make the content as exciting as possible. See you soon. ☺️
