Good morning Hivers friends,
Today I will bring you to discover the beautiful island of Capri. This paradise is located between the Gulf of Naples and the Gulf of Salerno. It is easily reachable from both coasts, via ferries that leave approximately every hour, from early morning until late evening.
According to the most recent studies on geography and geology, many years ago this island was attached to the mainland, and there are very interesting archaeological evidence that confirm this hypothesis.

Oggi vi porto a scoprire la bellissima isola di Capri. Questo paradiso è situato tra il golfo di Napoli e il golfo di Salerno. È facilmente raggiungibile a partire dalle due coste, attraverso traghetti che partono circa ogni ora, dalla mattina presto fino a tarda sera.
Secondo i più recenti studi sulla geografia e sulla geologia, molti anni fa quest’isola era attaccata alla terraferma, e vi sono testimonianze archeologiche molto interessanti che confermano questa ipotesi.

The thing that amazed me most about Capri is its extreme richness. Whether you like the sea, mountain trekking, museums or shopping streets, this island will be able to satisfy all your needs.
The historic center of the island is a real gem and there are many shops of handmade artistic creations. My favorite shops were those of the coral artisans. There are also several museums, including one that tells the history of the island.
La cosa che mi ha stupito di più di Capri è la sua estrema ricchezza. Che vi piacciano il mare, il trekking in montagna, i musei o le vie dello shopping, quest’isola sarà in grado di soddisfare tutte le vostre esigenze.
Il centro storico dell’isola è un vero gioiello e vi sono molti negozi di creazioni artistiche fatte a mano. I miei negozi preferiti sono stati quelli degli artigiani del corallo. Sono presenti anche diversi musei, tra cui quello che racconta la storia dell’isola.

The heart of Capri is “La Piazzetta”, or Piazza Umberto I. From here you can start all the most interesting itineraries of the island.
The houses are very particular, because they have a barrel vault and are rich in Mediterranean vegetation. In this place I found one of the largest cacti I have ever seen and I photographed it!
Movies have even been shot on this island.
Il cuore di Capri è “La Piazzetta”, ovvero Piazza Umberto I. Da qui è possibile partire per tutti gli itinerari più interessanti dell’isola.
Le abitazioni sono molto particolari, perché presentano una volta a botte e sono ricche di vegetazione mediterranea. In questo luogo ho trovato uno dei cactus più grandi che io abbia mai visto e l’ho fotografato!
In quest’isola sono stati persino girati dei film.
