The Best of Discovery-it #280

Hi there, welcome back to The Best of Discovery-it! All the best posts voted by the Discovery-it curator team will have their own dedicated space within the Hive blockchain. This digest intends to bring to light all those authors who often remain unnoticed and therefore reward all those who create quality posts, leading them to establish themselves on the platform. But that's not all!
After a careful selection, our curators will also choose the most deserving articles among all those voted to create a ranking of the Top posts of the day.
So who are today's winners?
The Siamese in nature- watercolor on paper with steps and explanation.
by
Hive account@armandosodano
The subject of today’s beautiful watercolor by armandosodano is Siamese cat. First of all, the artist did a very fast pencil sketch. Then, he coloured the face and the coat of the cat. Now it’s time for light drafting of green, cerulean and purple colors in the background, with some notes of sienna. After the adding of the last details, we can say that the result is just wonderful!

If you’re familiar with lightpainting, you will certainly recognize the talent of this photographer. The pictures in this post were taken with a running light on the rotation tool. “The chases had different presets and I just held the camera on them and tried to get the timing right to get perfect patterns” mafufuma said.
Morning animal art: Panting Black Dog.
by
Hive account@gloriaolar
Today gloriaolar shares with us a nice drawing representing a black dog with his tongue out. “Dogs can sometimes be cute animals most especially the trained ones. One character I love and cherish about them is their loyalty” the author said. The drawing was realized with Autodesk Sketchbook using white primary pencil on black background.
Drawing - The Holy Diver
by

The author of this post loves the sea, marine vehicles and activities in the sea. One of them is diving. “While doing research on free diving online, I came across a tribe. This tribe makes a living by fishing ... The interesting thing is that all the members of the tribe hunt the fish under the water by speargun diving without tubing. The name of this tribe is Bajau. Some of their photos caught my attention so much that I painted them” xxxthorxxx said. Don’t miss this interesting post!
