The bluethroat is distributed by arctic and northern latitudes of the Palearctic, occupying an entire strip that goes from Scandinavia to Asia and even Alaska and is located in a very fragmented way in the suitable habitats of central and western Europe, they are migratory birds for which they tend to migrate south of Spain and Italy, in countries of South Asia such as India and it has also been seen as far as North Africa, in the breeding season they live in the high mountains, they are usually in swamps or humid areas such as rivers, streams or lagoons. As I had mentioned, it is an insectivorous bird, but it can also eat certain fruits from wild bushes, and in autumn it consumes some seeds.
Buenas tardes, me gustaría esta vez hablarles un poco del ruiseñor azul [Luscinia svecica]; esta ave es muy escondidiza y tiende a caminar mucho por el suelo y más que todas las hembras, el macho tiene un color azul característico en el pecho, tiene el pico y las patas muy finas. El pechiazul se distribuye por latitudes árticas y septentrionales del paleártico, ocupando toda una franja que va desde Escandinavia hasta Asia e incluso Alaska, y localizándose de forma muy fragmentada en los hábitats adecuados de Europa central y occidental, son aves migratorias por lo cual suelen migrar al sur de España e Italia, en países del sur de Asia como india y también se ha llegado a ver hasta el norte de África, en época de cría habitan en la montaña alta, suelen ser en pantanos o zonas húmedas como ríos, arroyos o lagunas. Como había mencionado es un ave insectívora, pero también puede ingerir ciertos frutos de arbustos silvestres, y en otoño consume algunas semillas.
