Not in a good time!

I really hate the time when I am out of the house, maybe in the garden away from my camera, and somehow manage to find a beautiful creature.

Today is no exception, when I found this big colorful weevil in the plot of land that is now being cleared for a place for my father to put his paddy harvest this season. He wanted to have a kind of shed that we can put the rice in a safe place so that it will not be devoured by rats.

After I have a look at the place, and make my plan for this to take care of in the next two days, I noticed this big beautiful weevil that somehow is so easy to find when I am far away from my camera or the extension tube for my phone. So that I could only get these random photos of this somewhat beautiful insect.
