When I don't feel like going out into the dusk, and I can afford to stay at home and do my favorite activity, painting.
I can then choose to work from Lami's course materials or implement my own ideas.
Now I try to do everything that has a winter or Christmas theme. I think I should always do what's current. I would never think of doing activities that I do in the summer.
Even in summer, I will not paint Christmas atmosphere and snowy landscapes. For now, I'll present a couple of images of what is timely.
The first image shows a winter sunset, with snow-covered branches illuminated by the sun.
In the second picture you can see that the snow has melted and then frozen back into icicles. (Lami's course)
The third is a street lamp on a foggy winter evening. (Lami's course)
The last one needs a little explanation, because this sweet is not available outside Hungary, it is a true Hungaricum. Originally it was cooked at home with lots of sugar and flavourings, when it was cold it was cut into small pieces, wrapped in coloured paper and hung on the Christmas tree. Then they started to produce it in large quantities, initially only a few flavors. Now there is a huge variety, usually chocolate coated and in thousands of flavors, even with creamy, alcoholic fillings.
This is a modern version wrapped in glossy foil. (Lami's course)
