I can feel it's going to be a good day. I'm listening to "Pictures of You" by Drugdealer and Kate Bollinger as I write these lines. So chill. And in general, when the day starts like that, I'm productive.
I'm trying not to say it too loud so as not to tempt karma.
Yesterday morning, 
And I had quite a few things to fit in before leaving. First, write a post here. It does me good.
Then, I had some calendulas to repot. I knew I wouldn't have time to deal with them this week, so I might as well give them a chance to thrive now.
It was 8:30 when I went outside with my bag of potting soil to repot a few plants.
This is the growing tray I made three weeks ago. The calendulas are starting to bolt and need space to keep developing. But it's still too early at this latitude to plant them in the ground outside.
I also took the opportunity to pot some mini cucumber seedlings in large pots. I'm also leaving some in my growing tray and we'll see which ones develop best. Little experiment.
Before getting ready and tidying up the house a bit, I watered the spring peas. They're starting to grow really well.
I need to find some mulch to avoid leaving the soil bare like that. Five rows of 2m, so 10m of peas. Enough to keep us going until we plant something else here this summer.

Je sens que ça va être une bonne journée. J'écoute "Pictures of You" de Drugdealer et Kate Bollinger en écrivant ces lignes. Tellement chill. Et en général, quand la journée commence comme ça, je suis productif.
J'essaie de ne pas le dire trop fort pour ne pas tenter le karma.

Et j'avais pas mal de choses à caser avant le départ. D'abord, rédiger une publication ici. Ça me fait du bien.
Ensuite, j'avais des calendulas à repiquer. Je savais que je n'aurais pas le temps de m'en occuper cette semaine, alors autant leur donner une chance de s'épanouir maintenant.
Il était 8h30 quand je suis sorti avec mon sac de terreau pour repiquer quelques plants.
C'est le bac de culture que j'ai fait il y a trois semaines. Les calendulas commencent à filer et ont besoin d'espace pour continuer à se développer. Mais il est encore trop tôt sous cette latitude pour les planter en pleine terre.
J'en ai profité pour mettre aussi quelques plantules de mini concombre en gros pot. J'en laisse également dans mon bac de culture et on verra lesquelles se développent le mieux. Petit test.
Avant de me préparer et de ranger un peu la maison, j'ai arrosé les petits pois de printemps. Ils commencent à vraiment bien pousser.
Il faut que je trouve du paillage pour éviter de laisser la terre à nu. Cinq rangées de 2m, soit 10m de petits pois. De quoi patienter jusqu'à planter autre chose ici cet été.
