He has a point, but lettuce bearing those colors would go in the compost heap, not on the wall. I have seen people use a straw to blow paint across a canvas to achieve similar results. It tends to be an intentional design allowing chance to alter the process according to the behavior of the paint. Do you start with a design in mind, or just see what patterns and shapes emerge from your blow drier?
