This mornings stress was greatly helped by my walk in the drizzle drenched woods this morning, finding relics and plants, was enough to defuse my rage.
My friends and neighbors gave the final relief, when they consented to allow the Windshield tech to work under their drive thru shelter.
He was a LEETLE bit tardy, but I forgave that quite easily.
I didn't particularly like having to fork out over $400 this soon after the price of the new tires, but whadaya gonna do?
Once he got under the shed and began to work, he was done in a little over an hour.
From the start, the company kept trying to get me to replace my wipers, saying it needed to be done every ¡5 months! 🤔
I said NO every time one of the stupid BOTS 🤖 pressed me about it, but when the GUY was here (his name was Leroy, very nice fella) I told him "I replaced these wipers ONCE, right after I got the car, that was 2016!"
He just shook his head. I did agree to let him replace them,
In the meantime, I'd gotten a flyer from Ollie's where they had some good deals on Flannel Shirts.
I had a favorite green plaid flannel shirt, but way back right after I moved, I sloshed bleach on it, so now I only wear it to work around the yard.
I went, got a shirt for me, one for my neighbor ($9.99 each) but both I got were too small. I will return them tomorrow.
BUT, I also got a selfie stick ($4.99)
an LED Mouse pad ($2.99) powered by USB, so whenever my laptop is powered, this lights up
AND, I got a fleece hoodie, INSIDE a flannel top shirt (THAT wasn't so cheap)
So I guess spending money is also a stress reliever.
I for one, am glad this day is over.
Stay well my friends.
