Hey Everyone!!
Yesterday i made a paper tiranga badge for a school girl which she had to submit as a weekend assignment of Independence Day.
She came to me to help her, so i made this one for her.
It's a national flag badge made with a white paper using colors.
This is how i made this-
- So i started with a white A-4 sheet paper, as she had no colored paper and i also don't had these color papers.
- Very first i marked 3 strips of 7 cm each as the paper width was 21 cm. So i divided it into 3 equal size to make a small size badge.
- Then in each 7cm strip, i marks 3 more strips of equal width for the three colors.
- After marking all the lines on paper, i took my crayon colors which i had that moment of time.
- Before start color, i marked each section with its respective color, so that i don't mashup everything.
- After marking the sections, i starting coloring.
- First band, i colored with orange color, for the saffron color of Tiranga which is a symbol of sacrifice and bravery.
- Then leave the middle band as white, which is a symbol of peace and truth.
- At the last, i colored the last band with green color, which is a symbol of greeness, fertility and growth.
- After the coloring, i cut out each strips.
- After all these, i start folding the strip in order to make a zig-zag curve of paper.
- For this, first take the paper, fold a little towards backside.
- Then flip the paper backside and fold the same width of paper towards forward side.
- Again flip the paper forward side and fold the same width towards backside.
- Repeatedly do the same process of folding the paper to a little in the opposite side, until the paper last.
- Same way i folded all the three strips.
- After folding, sticked the end of one strip to the front of other strip.
- Similar way, i sticked all the three strips to one.
- Finally to reduce the space at center, i sticked the center curves.
- After doing all this, i made a wheel of blue color which represent the wheel of law with 24 spokes which represent the 24 hours of day.
- After completing the details, i sticked it to the center.
- That's all it completed.
