Hello and welcome to my blog.
Many people love to travel... myself include and those were some of the best memories of our life. Naturally, we want these memories to stay fresh in our minds and to do so, most of us like to capture these memories as photos and videos. So, a good enough camera is a must in this day and age.

Almost everyone has a decent camera with them fitted inside their smartphone. And they are pretty good nowadays. I have been using my phone almost exclusively.
Yes, it sucks in low light and the dynamic range sucks. But it still gives great output outdoors in good lighting conditions.
Like this shot, from the famous, Humayun Tomb. More about that monument in this post.

This is as good as my phone gets. Not too shabby for late-afternoon photos.
But I have also used a camera in the past. I borrowed a Sony ZV-I from one of my friends in the past and used it for a couple of weeks as well. But that camera was more of a vlogging camera and was not that great for photos. It had a fixed lens as well.
Nonetheless, it was a major improvement from my phone. I tested it on another monument here in Delhi and I loved the results.

Keep in mind that these were shot in the harsh afternoon sunlight. It would be impossible to get a shot like this with my phone. The sky and the building would be too bright and the shadows will get too dark. But a camera managed it relatively well.
I want a proper camera badly but I have to save up to get one. Cameras are too damm expensive. Even the entry-level ones. I will buy a good one someday. Like a good friend always says #tomorrowisthegoal.
All this camera talk reminds me of the time when we used to have a tiny camera on our smartphones. Once, a 1-megapixel phone camera was the talk among friends. We have come so far in the smartphone camera market that now smartphone cameras are competing with some of the old cameras. I know, I know a smartphone camera can not ever compete with say a 300mm lens but still they have come so far.
I believe the best camera is the one you have with you at the time. And everyone has a smartphone with them always. I love to take pictures from my phone and what about you?
Thanks for reading...
Until next time...
